Komandan Komando Pendidikan TNI AU (Kodikau) Marsekal Muda TNI Sukirno HS., menghadiri penutupan fase terbang malam pendidikan calon penerbang helikopter TNI di Skadron Udara 7 Lanud Suryadarma, Subang, Kamis malam (3/12).  

Dankodikau bersama dua pejabat Kodikau disambut para komandan dan pejabat TNI AU di Kalijati seperti Danlanud Suryadarma Kol. Pnb Widiantoro, MBA, Danwingdiktekkal Kol. Tek Danardono SA.,MPP., Danskadron Udara 7 Letkol Pnb Sri Duto Dhanisworo,Msi dan lainnya.

Usai istirahat sejenak rombongan menuju Skadron Udara 7 untuk mengikuti berbagai rangkaian acara kunjungan. Pertama-tama Dankodikau memberikan briefing kepada instruktur, penerbang, perwira dan sembilan siswa Sekolah Penerbang Prajurit Sukarela Dinas Pendek (PSDP) TNI angkatan ke-79 di ruang briefing Hanggar Colibri kemudian melihat simulator Helikopter Colibri, Sholat Magrib bersama lalu merasakan terbang malam dengan Helikopter EC 120 Colibri, pemotongan nasi tumpeng, sambutan dan ramah-tamah.

Sebelum fase terbang malam helikopter berakhir, terdapat tiga sortie penerbangan, dua sortie dengan Helikopter Bell 47 G Soloy untuk dua siswa terakhir dan satu sortie dengan Helikopter EC 120 Colibri mendukung Dankodikau merasakan terbang malam helikopter di area penerbangan Lanud Suryadarma sekitar 20 menit.

Ketiga sortie penerbangan tersebut berjalan lancar dilanjutkan dengan acara pemotongan nasi tumpeng oleh Dankodikau yang diberikan kepada Sersan Mayor Siswa Siregar dan pemberian cinderamata dari Danskadron Udara 7 kepada Dankodikau.

Dalam sambutannya Dankodikau sebelum ramah-tamah penutupan terbang malam dimulai menekankan nilai strategis Skadron Udara 7 karena di dididiknya calon-calon penerbang sebagai kader-kader pemimpin TNI AU di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, ditekankan kepada para perwira remaja agar dapat merintis karir sejak dini sebaik-baiknya sesuai jalur profesi dan keahliannya. Selain itu diingatkan agar bekerja dengan ikhlas tanpa riya dan tidak sombong/takabur. Karena hal-hal tersebut merupakan penyebab kelalaian, keteledoran dan akhirnya kehancuran. Di penghujung sambutannya Dankodikau menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada instruktur, kru pesawat dan harapan ke depan agar satuan-satuan udara di TNI AU dapat mencapai satu tahun tanpa accident.
